Cortex Technologies (Guernsey) release Seeker.gg

Nobody mention that it was supposed to launch in January...

Cortex Technologies (Guernsey) release Seeker.gg

Seeker.gg - Cortex Guernsey’s latest service release - is a website dedicated for Guernsey people to help them find a new property, vehicle or job.

Seeker started as a platform to help people find a new property in Guernsey. Rather than laboriously hit 20+ estate agent websites, you can now hit one and get all the same results. We’re trying to take the pain out of how you currently do this by putting all the relevant data in one place, making it easy to search for - and most importantly, once you tell us what you’re looking for, we’ll notify you as new things arrive.

Furthermore - we don’t just do this for property - we’ve added vehicles and jobs in to the mix.

We call this platform Seeker. It has data from every Guernsey-based estate agent, vehicle dealer (cars, vans, bikes and boats!) and currently 32 and counting recruitment agents or business advertising jobs.

We want this to be a service that is really useful for Guernsey people - no strings attached. We’ve also got a few extra features in there just to add to the value of the site.

We have the wonderful Weather Fox providing us thrice-weekly weather reports, as well as tide info (and for all you boaty types we have the sill clearance times for all Guernsey’s marinas too!)

We hope you enjoy using it!

Check it out and don’t forget to follow on Twitter / Facebook for all the updates.

By Matt Thornton

Matt’s biggest (and most irritating) asset is his attention to detail. Whether it’s spotting bugs in code or spotting grammatical errors in other people’s work, Matt will find it and tell you about it.

Usually with an obnoxious smirk on his face.

After a long spell at University honing his analytical skills, gaining a PhD in remote sensing and computer science, Matt has spent the last 15 or so years applying them in Guernsey.

Don’t interrupt him if he’s in the zone - usual signs are air drumming, fixated stare on random object and/or swearing prolifically - unexpected behaviour may will result.
